ASTROLOGY FOR THE WEEK OF OCT 7-13 2024

MON OCT 7

The Moon is in Sagittarius as the week begins, where it goes on to square Saturn, which see’s some frustrations, challenges, or delays that require patience. Evening time can see a bit more optimism as the Moon is sextile the Sun and opposite Jupiter while  semisquare Pluto, although restraint is still necessary. Strong feelings can bubble under the surface, but tomorrow can see some good news even if there are still some tensions to navigate. 

TUES OCT 8

The Moon is sextile Mercury and opposite Jupiter while trine Chiron this morning, which can see some good news, so things can be looking a bit more optimistic, although there still may be a lack of clarity to contend with as the Moon goes on to square Neptune. Venus and Mars perfect a trine today, which brings good energy for love, money, or pleasure pursuits. If you’re feeling out of sorts however, try to sooth the nerves and focus on what is going well. Evening see’s the Moon quincunx Uranus, which can see some tensions and unpredictability. Remain open to new possibilities and improvise, adapt, overcome. 

WED OCT 9

The Moon enters Capricorn at 2:38 AM PST, where it is semisquare Venus and trine Hygeia. Try to relax and avoid fixating or obsessing, as there can be some slightly unsettled feelings to contend with. The Sun is square Mars and trine Jupiter, so there can be some frustrations around the need to involve other people in the equation, but the pros of diplomacy and teamwork outweigh the cons. Venus and Mars break away from a stabilizing trine to Saturn, and Venus begins to angle towards an opposition to Uranus, which can see a wild streak building that increases the need for independence.

THURS OCT 10

Today can see a lot of action, and although there may be some tensions with the Moon opposite Mars, and square the Sun and Chiron, there is also a lunar sextile to Venus that sweetens the deal. Evening time see’s the Moon trine Uranus, which can see new possibilities or insights, so it’s good to remain flexible. 

FRI OCT 11

The Moon conjoins Pluto early this morning, which get’s the weekend off to an intense start. It then enters Aquarius at 9:31 AM PST, and there may be a lot going on to adapt to with the Moon square Mercury and trine Uranus in the first half of the day. Pluto stations direct in 29 Capricorn at 5:34 PM PST. Come November 19, it will leave Capricorn forever, so this final round is especially meaningful. This evening can see excitement or a lot of multitasking, with the Moon sesquisquare Jupiter. 

SAT OCT 12

Today can see more harmony and the opportunity for some pleasant diversions, with the Moon trine the Sun and heading for a trine to Jupiter. Minor lunar tensions with Mars and Venus later on can be energizing or slightly irritable. It may just be that there have been some unusual circumstances to contend with this week that have required an adaptable frame. 

SUN OCT 13

The Moon is trine Mercury in 29 Libra, while square Venus and Uranus, which can see some tensions, but there is the ability to talk them out, smooth them over, or work with them as best you can. Mercury square Pluto in the anaretic degrees of Libra and Capricorn has been highlighting some important and definitive communications, agreements, negotiations or power dynamics, and there is a need to tread cautiously and maintain harmony around intense issues, people or circumstances. Choose your words carefully and mindfully to avoid potential minefields detonating. Serious topics can be a focus, and significant shifts may be occurring in within agreements, negotiations, or power dynamics.  There can be a bit of a chaotic or excitable atmosphere, with a lot to balance. Mercury enters Scorpio at 12:33 PM PST, and the Moon enters Pisces shortly after, which can help sooth tensions and see an emphasis on more nurturing and stability. People may be a little out of sorts, and there can be a bit of a scramble to attend to neglected needs or responsibilities or care for someone vulnerable.
